Barking FC hosted Clapton FC on 20 August 2017 to pay tribute to Joshua Bwalya who was fatally stabbed on 3 August, just before his 17th birthday. Joshua was an ex Clapton player who played in our U14s team. He was a promising young player who had transferred to Barking Football Club. Results: Barking FC 5 – 0 Clapton FC.
