The new Clapton FC football team, have wasted no time in starting preparations for the new season, with the following already confirmed pre season friendlies to be played throughout July:

Saturday 6 July – Tons play away to May Bakers FC, who play in the First Division South of the Thurlow Nunn League. Kick off: 2.00pm. Venue: Robert Clack Leisure Centre , Gosfield Road RM8 1DN. Referee: Charlie Roberts

Tuesday 9 July – Tons play hosts to Newbury Forest FC, who also compete against May Bakers in the First Division South of the Thurlow Nunn League. Kick off is at 7.45pm

Saturday 13 July – The Tons travel away to Chatham, Kent to play Southern Counties East Premier Division side, Lordswood FC. Kick off: 3.00pm

Tuesday 16 July – Clapton FC kicks off at 7.45pm against Bostik League South Central Division side,  Waltham Abbey FC at the Old Spotted Dog Stadium

Saturday 20 July sees the Tons travel to play away to Stotfold FC. Kick off: 3.00pm

Tuesday 23 July, the Tons play host to Enfield Borough FC , who are currently members of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One. Kick off: 7.45pm

The final pre season match is on home turf, where the Tons take on Greenwich Borough FC who currently play in the South East Division of the Bostik League, on Saturday 27 July 2019. Kick off: 3.00pm
