Our journey in the Len Cordell Memorial Cup has unfortunately come to an end against a well drilled Redbridge FC, who beat the Tons 3-0 on Tuesday at Mayesbrook Park Stadium.
The backbone of a lot of our recent good results has been the strength of our defence, but unfortunately they had an off day and a couple of individual errors were punished.
Overall though, the players have given a good account of themselves and done the club proud to reach the semi finals of this first ever Essex Senior Football League Cup in honour of Len Cordell who died in February.
A good start for the new management team which will give us confidence going into the new season. Also, a special mention to all those at the club who work tirelessly in the background. Their support, time, and expertise is greatly appreciated.
