Dear Supporters,

As we draw near to the climax of this season, we are pleased to inform you that Clapton Football Club has made good progress this year –  the U17s are in the U17 Coleman Cup Final (26 April), the Reserves are in the semi of the Reserves Shield and the senior team is in the semi of the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy.

At this stage, the management and players of Clapton Football Club would like to offer our sincere thanks for the support you have given the club this season.

This is also the time of the season when the real hard work is carried out in preparation for next! We have agreed to have the pitch totally renovated from the 25th April onwards. As we continue to pursue the continual ground improvement programme we have also earmarked the following:

  1. Extending the spectator stand
  2. Reducing the height of the dug outs by positioning it further into the ground
  3. Building a new outside toilet with the minimum of four toilets for ladies, four urinals for men and one disable toilet
  4. Concreting behind the goal at the far end

Completion of this improvement programme is dependant on funding, donations and support. If you would like to help us in any of these areas or have expertise in the areas needed above, then please contact us to arrange an information discussion.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Vincent McBean
Chief Executive
